Dr. Christopher Medina is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and provides care at Capital Region Women’s Care. Dr. Medina received his medical degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University, where he also completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Medina has a particular interest in the care of women with high-risk pregnancies, such as hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and gestational diabetes.
Dr. Medina decided to become a doctor at a young age when a personal experience provided him with the opportunity to witness the positive work doctors can do and was attracted to the specialty of obstetrics and gynecology because of the long continuity of care the specialty offers. He enjoys spending time with his two German shepherds, Maikoh and Osa.
