Dr. Christopher Bloss is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He earned his medical degree from MCP Hahnemann University School of Medicine. Dr. Bloss began his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science. He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY.

The experiences Dr. Bloss and his wife shared in the births of their six children have helped shape his philosophy and perspective as an obstetrician. Believing that birth is a natural event has enabled him to coach women through the delivery process. Throughout a patient’s pregnancy, Dr. Bloss is happy to devote whatever time is needed for communication and information. On the gynecological side of things, he has trained to be able to provide state-of-the-art techniques such as outpatient robotic and laparoscopic hysterectomy that allow patients to get back on their feet and back to their busy lives.

Dr. Bloss has a special interest in the evaluation and treatment of women with chronic pelvic pain conditions, and he is a member of the International Pelvic Pain Society. Evidence-based patient care and positive doctor-patient collaboration are always his most important goals.

Dr. Bloss is a Surgeon of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Surgery, recognized for providing the highest quality of care and patient safety by the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC).
