Dr. Leonard Leonidas is a double board-certified physician at Schodack Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, board-certified in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. He cares for patients of all ages. Dr. Leonidas attended Rochester Institute of Technology and The University of Maine for his undergraduate education. It was during college that he decided to pursue medicine. He was strongly influenced by his dad who is a pediatrician. Dr. Leonidas attended medical school at Tufts University in Boston and completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Albany Medical Center.
Dr. Leonidas selected the dual specialties of internal medicine and pediatrics because he enjoys seeing patients of all ages. He has special professional interests in prevention and wellness, and forming relationships with patients. His favorite part of his job is interacting with patients and meeting their families.
Outside of the office, Dr. Leonidas enjoys running, so much so that he’s even completed several marathons. He also likes camping, hiking, and singing; he is a member of a choir and also of the Cub Scouts. Dr. Leonidas has two sons.
