Schodack Internal Medicine and Pediatrics is proud to be a part of the Rensselaer County community. We have been caring for the families in this area for over 30 years.
We pride ourselves on being patient-centered and our building is designed to support that philosophy. In 2016, we moved into our state-of-the-art facility at 35 Empire State Boulevard in Castleton, NY. We built our facility in an effort to enhance the patient experience through the amenities and layout of our practice. The planning of our building coincided with our practice’s transformation into one of the area’s first nationally recognized patient centered medical homes. We are excited to have a building that is the first of its kind in the area, integrating the concepts of the patient centered medical home into our office space.
What does this mean for you? When you walk into our office, you’ll notice a more friendly and comfortable design as well as a modern décor. This improves collaboration between the members of our care teams. Behind the scenes, we have designed the office to make sure the whole care team is focused on you and your healthcare needs.
We also leverage technology for better patient care. Like most doctors’ offices, we use an electronic health records (EHR) system in our office. Our office currently send prescription electronically.
Educational Waiting Area
Our waiting room has an iPad station for patients or family members to use for education or entertainment. Kids need a special area too! We have a waiting space specifically for our Pediatric patients to watch educational television, read, or just enjoy the décor – like our butterfly wall – while they wait.
We are focused on offering you quality medical care, while making your experience as enjoyable and seamless as possible.
