Sheryl Brown, MD is board certified in family medicine, providing medical care for patients of all ages. She comes to Latham Medical Group after working at the Whitney M Young Health Clinic in Troy, NY. Dr. Brown received her Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York College at Buffalo. After her undergraduate education, Dr. Brown received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in family medicine at Albany Medical Center.
Dr. Brown has a special interest in geriatric health, women's health, physician and patient education, and global health. She has extensive experience teaching medical students across the globe at the Engeye Health Clinic in Uganda. Dr. Brown is a clinical assistant professor for Albany Medical Center and serves as a medical educator for medical students in the community.
