Julia Roske is a licensed and certified physician assistant and dietician, specializing in preventative health care with an emphasis on nutrition and extensive experience in the provision of occupation health services. Julia is a graduate of Albany Medical College where she earned her degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She also has her Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics from the State University of New York at Oneonta. Initially, Julia was a registered dietician until she decided she wanted to help her patients in a more comprehensive way which led her to become a physician assistant. Some of the areas of health care she’s specifically interested in are diabetes care and education, travel medicine, and occupational medicine.
Julia very involved in her community and staying active when she isn’t with her patients! She participates in charity bike rides to raise money for the American Diabetes Association, Multiple Sclerosis Society, and Habitat for Humanity. She enjoys bike riding, cross country skiing as well as hiking. Julia finds time to build telescopes with her husband in her down time due to her interest in astronomy! Her craftiness doesn’t end there though; she also makes things such as beer, cheese, canoes, and even engraves glass!
