Dr. Gaylord is a native of the Capital Region and is double board-certified in internal medicine and pediatrics. In 1999, he was the initial founder of the practice that is now Burnt Hills Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. Dr. Gaylord received his medical degree from Albany Medical College, where he also completed his internship and residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics. During his training, Dr. Gaylord served as Chief Resident in pediatrics at Albany Med and he is currently the assistant attending in internal medicine/pediatric at Albany Medical Center Hospital and Saratoga Hospital and Nursing Home. Dr. Gaylord has a special interest in helping patients with complex medical problems and diagnostic dilemmas.
Dr. Gaylord is an avid hiker of the Adirondacks and enjoys outdoor activities. As a parent of three college aged children, he can help guide fellow parents through the many phases of parenthood. He even co-authored the book, Your Baby’s First Year for Dummies.
