John Fantauzzi, MD began his medical education at Hamilton College where he completed his undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. Dr. Fantauzzi obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College and then did a preliminary residency in internal medicine at Staten Island University Hospital. From there, he completed his radiology residency at Winthrop-University Hospital and did a fellowship in thoracic radiology at the University of Maryland Medical System. Following his fellowship training, Dr. Fantauzzi accepted a position at N.Y.U. Medical Center where he was an Assistant Professor of Radiology at N.Y.U. School of Medicine.
Dr. Fantauzzi is board-certified in radiology and is extensively published. In 2011, Dr. Fantauzzi received the American College of Radiology Cardiac CT Certificate of Advanced Proficiency.
