Victoria Mitchell, CNM
Capital Region native, Victoria, earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Southern Vermont College in Bennington, VT. She proceeded to achieve her Master of Science degree in nursing, with a concentration in midwifery from Stony Brook University School of Nursing. Victoria is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives.
Victoria always knew she wanted a career in medicine, and after having her children, she found her passion for midwifery. She believes the continuum of care for the mother is a pivotal part of their health. Victoria believes it’s important to see patients as a whole and to give them the autonomy to let them make their own decisions in an informed way. Her favorite part of her job is helping women through transitions in their lives and being there for them as they make healthy choices.
In her spare time, Victoria loves spending time with her family. Her two kids keep her busy with sports and other activities.
