MasterTech Program logo

Having trouble with how to use your technological device? How about navigating the Internet or figuring out social media? Whether you are a beginner learning the basics, or are a more advanced tech wiz, MasterTech will provide you with the tools you need to learn how to utilize your laptop, tablet, and/or phone, while bridging the generation gap between younger and elder individuals.

What is MasterTech?

MasterTech is a FREE technology education program led by student mentors from the Niskayuna High School. We match each patient with their very own mentor to answer your very own technology questions and concerns.

Program Overview

The program is offered over the course of 5 weeks, where patients can feel free to simply stop by for free technology assistance or help, or choose to attend multiple MasterTech sessions if they wish to further their technology competency or skills!

Examples of topics we have helped patients master:

  • How to create an online photo album
  • Learning Microsoft Word
  • Navigating mobile apps, such as Snapchat and Facebook
  • Assisting with patient portal help

Patients can be provided with laptops if needed, however if you prefer to learn from your own device (laptop, phone, or tablet), feel free to bring that along!

Admission to MasterTech is on a rolling basis. All classes run Thursdays from 3PM – 4PM.
