Our regular office hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm.
We also have limited appointment availability between 4:30pm and 6:00pm.
Although we would like to see all our patients when necessary, we are not a walk-in clinic. We require that all patients call ahead to schedule an appointment.
There is a physician on call every evening and on weekends for any urgent problems that occur after hours. You can speak with the physician by calling our office number which will then connect you to our message service. You will be asked some questions by the answering service which will then page the physician who will return your call. If you have caller ID on your phone, we do ask that you disable it prior to the physician returning your call.
The physician will return your phone call when his or her immediate patient responsibilities permit. This may be at the end of the morning or afternoon patient session. We will try to provide you with information about when you may expect to receive a call back.
Please provide our office with telephone numbers at which you can be reliably reached during the call back time period. It is a good idea to leave an alternate number.
If your problem is urgent, please tell the operator and the operator will connect you with a nurse. In general, if you are ill, the physicians prefer that you be seen and evaluated to receive the best care. We will usually offer you an appointment on the day that you call.
If you believe you have a life-threatening medical emergency, go to the emergency room or call 911. You should notify our office afterward.
Our maximum telephone traffic occurs between 8 AM and 10 AM. If your call is not urgent, we suggest you call after 10 AM. Otherwise, we will handle your call in the order in which we receive it.
