In-Office Surgical Procedures
At Community Care Family Medicine, we offer on-site office surgical procedures, including:
- Same day urgent visits for laceration repair
- Suture removals
- Treatment of skin burns, infections or abscesses
- Treatment of skin conditions, warts, skin tags, ingrown nails, nail trimming, and mole checks
- Biopsy or removal of any suspicious skin lesions
- Splinting, orthotic taping and casting of simple orthopedic problems
We work closely with Community Care surgeons for problems that require more advanced care. We will make all the necessary arrangements for you to make an appointment with them.
Community Care Family Medicine also offers complete office spirometry for asthma and emphysema care. We provide in-office asthma care service as well as EKG evaluations and Holter monitoring.
Lab Testing
For your convenience, we provide all lab service right in our office. This means you don't have to schedule a separate appointment at another location to get lab testing.
If you are having morning fasting lab testing, we ask that you do not have any food after dinner or for at least 12 hours before your appointment time. You may drink as much water as you like. Continue to take your medications. In the rare situation we are measuring a medication level, we will tell you to hold that medication until after the morning blood draw. If you are diabetic, hold any diabetic medications (pills or insulin) until after the blood test is drawn.
After we review your test results, you will receive a personalized interpretation of the lab test results within 10 business days.
