Program Goals

The goal of NICE Weight Transitions is to educate adolescents and their families about weight management and the lifestyle changes that are necessary for a healthy future. This program will ensure that the adolescents enrolled in the program incorporate exercise and proper nutrition into their daily lives. We make the program fun, energetic and as informational as possible to get adolescents and their families excited and motivated to make necessary changes for better health.

The Objectives of our NICE program are:

  • To assist our community to stay healthy
  • To Identify and design exercise strategies and physical fitness activities
  • To educate patients on the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle
  • To combine nutrition, exercise and fun to assist adoslecents achieve a healhier lifestyle
  • To encourage patients to increase their health awareness and to gain and seek new information
  • To provide and encourage the use of services available to patients, communities, parents and schools to promote healthy lifestyle practices
