Recipe: Healthy Salad and Dressing

Salad Ingredients:

  • Spring Mix or any other salad of your choice
  • Spinach
  • Tomatoes
  • Pepper
  • Other vegetables of your choice
  • Apple (1/2)
  • Dried Cranberries

 

 

Dressing Ingredients:

  • 6 spoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 spoons balsamic vinaigrette
  • Splash of cold water
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Salt + Pepper (to taste)
  • ½ lemon
  • Walnuts

In a bowl, mix olive oil, balsamic vinegar, water, salt and pepper. Add chopped garlic and chopped onion, add fresh lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients and add chopped walnuts into the dressing.

Add salad of your choice, spinach, chopped tomatoes, peppers and other vegetables, ½ of chopped apple and cranberries.

Once everything is set, mix the salad so the dressing gets to the top and serve.
