mycareDOT™ is a secure communications service that provides an efficient alternative to phone calls and office visits when you have non-urgent healthcare needs. Using mycareDOT™, with just a few clicks of your mouse, you can:
Send a Brief Note to Your Doctor
- By sending a note to your doctor, you can ask non-urgent questions regarding your medical care
- This replaces the need call the office and wait on hold for questions regarding a recent office visit, a medication question, or a lab/x-ray result
- Avoid hassles of being placed on hold or waiting for a return call after leaving a message
- You can access sent and received messages at any time for easy online reference
- There is no charge to you when using this feature of the patient portal
Request/Cancel Appointments
- Request appointments even when the office is closed
- Specify preferences for days and times
- Cancel and reschedule appointments as needed

- Using a web visit, you can request advice about non-urgent symptoms when it's most convenient for you
- Avoid telephone hassles and unnecessary office visits for minor problems (please remember, this should not replace your regular in-office exams)
- Complete quick and easy interactive medical interviews that gather the necessary information about your symptoms in order to relay it to your doctor, reducing back-and-forth communication
- Access sent and received messages at any time for easy, online reference
- Web visits are covered by some insurance plans. You may be required to pay a co-payment for your webVisit®. If you insurance does not cover webVisit®, the cost of this service is determined by your doctor and will be communicated to you PRIOR to your webVisit® so you can agree to the amount.
