Welcome to Latham Women's Care at Community Care Physicians, P.C.
Latham Women's Care brings together OB/GYN practitioners and family medicine physicians who specialize in obstetrics, gynecology, and integrated medicine. These Community Care providers bring an expanded scope of women's health services to the practice. Latham Women's Care is a centrally located women's health practice in Latham, NY that can service a large geographic area in the New York Capital Region, including current Community Care patients and new patients alike.
With physicians affiliated with both Saratoga and Albany hospitals, obstetrics patients will have a choice of delivering at either Albany Medical Center or Saratoga Hospital.
If you have a primary care provider (PCP) at Community Care, your PCP and your Community Care provider at Latham Women's Care will share access to the same electronic health record (EHR). Replacing your traditional paper chart, this electronic system allows the providers administering your care to share information in real time with the highest level of confidentiality, enhancing quality of care.

The Convenience of the Health Park

Located at the Capital Region Health Park in Latham, patients who visit Latham Women’s Care will also experience the convenience of Community Care’s ancillary services available at this location. Our location permits the convenience of Laboratory, Radiology, Physical Therapy, Audiology, Dermatology, Podiatry, and fitness, as well as an on-site Walgreens Pharmacy, eliminating the need to travel for these services if needed.
Our OB/GYN and Family Medicine Providers
 Stefanie Allison, DO
Dr. Allison specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. After receiving her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in Iowa, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Albany Medical Center, where she currently serves as Adjunct Faculty Instructor. Dr. Allison enjoys providing quality, compassionate women’s healthcare to a diverse patient population.
 Carlos Elguero, MD
Dr. Elguero, who is near fluent in Spanish, is board certified in Family Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, where he also served as a Research Fellow. Dr. Elguero received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine in the Dominica and completed his residency training in Family Medicine at Albany Medical Center, through Albany Family Practice Group, where he served as Chief Resident.
 Hakeema Henry, MD
Dr. Henry specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, TX. A graduate of Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN, Dr. Henry completed her internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. She fulfilled her residency training at New Hanover Regional Medical Center and Albany Medical Center, where she also served as Chief Resident.
 Brigid Mack, MD
Dr. Mack specializes in family medicine. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Health and Society from the University of Rochester, she earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Mack completed her internship and residency training in Family Medicine from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill School of Medicine. She served as Maternal Child Health Fellow at the University of Rochester. Dr. Mack is board certified in Family Medicine.
 Elena Rosenbaum, MD
Dr. Rosenbaum is board certified in Family Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine, Dr. Rosenbaum completed her residency training and her Fellowship at Lawrence Family Health Center in Lawrence, MA. She has an extensive background in integrative medicine, including acupuncture and osteopathic manipulation. Dr. Rosenbaum is fluent in Spanish.
 Lee Stetzer, MD, MPH
Dr. Stetzer is certified by the American Board of Family Physicians. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College, he earned his Master of Public Health from Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Stetzer received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Emory University School of Medicine and then completed his residency training at Albany Medical Center, Department of Family Medicine. He has also served as Research Fellow for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
