As a patient of OB/Gyn Associates, you may have seen or heard something about Community Care Physicians.  As an important part of this practice, we thought we should tell you a little about us.

Community Care Physicians is a private network of specialists and primary care physicians with offices throughout the Capital District.  Our physicians offer a wide range of medical services, but also work with local healthcare providers, hospitals and tertiary care centers to ensure the full range of care.

Many of our physicians have joined our network for one reason:  the opportunity to practice medicine, unburdened by the business and bureaucracy of health care.

“…we believe we serve you best by allowing you and your doctor to make decisions concerning your health care and the healthcare needs of your family.”

And that’s what we do.  At Community Care Physicians, our administrative staff and business management experts are dedicated to supporting the activities of your doctor’s office at every level so that your doctor can spend more time with you and your family and less time with paperwork.

Unlike a managed care organization or an insurance company, Community Care Physicians is owned and governed by physicians.  This means your doctor is part of a team of local doctors making decisions on how to develop the best care and services possible.

From time to time you may see a billing statement or patient satisifaction survey from us.  But that’s all.  At Community Care Physicians, we believe we serve you best by allowing you and your doctor to make decisions concerning your health care and the healthcare needs of your family.

Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide excellent medical care, both therapeutic and preventive, to individuals and families in the Capital Region and beyond.  We treat our patients and our fellow staff with respect, compassion and dignity.  We believe in working with our patients as partners in the pursuit of their health and well being.

How We Dispense Care

Our providers are dedicated to providing excellent medical care for the entire family.  As board certified, fully licensed family practitioners, they are trained to diagnose and treat a range of acute and chronic medical conditions in patients of all ages.

Treating the “whole person” and not simply providing episodic care, is key to their goal of providing complete wellness.  By taking the time necessary to get to know each patient beyond their immediate clinical needs, our providers can offer their patients customized health care management services.  The result?  Our patients typically benefit from healthier outcomes over the course of their lives.
