What To Expect
Getting ready for your visit
Before you arrive...
- Make
sure you bring your Insurance Card. When we have
current health insurance information we are best able
to interact with your insurance carrier and thereby avoid
any confusion about what payments are covered by your
plan. Correct insurance information will help us to serve
you efficiently.
- Write down
all prescription medications that you are taking, especially
those that may have been prescribed by another health care
provider. Be sure
to include information that appears on your prescription
bottle, such as the dose, and the number of times per day
that you take the medication. If you are taking non-prescription
medications or vitamin or herbal supplements please be
sure to add them to your list.
- If you have medical records or
test results in another office that are important for
this visit please arrange to have them sent here prior
to your visit so that the doctor can review them with you.
- Check with
your health insurance company to be clear about what
services your policy covers and what your copay amount
will be.
- If
you are seeing us for a specific medical procedure or treatment,
our staff will gladly guide you regarding specific preparation
you may need prior to your visit. When in doubt, please don’t
hesitate to ask us! For specific guidance about any preparation
you need to undertake prior to having a test or medical procedure,
please call the office where your test will be performed.
Our offices are open during regular business hours. As
always, it is our pleasure to make your visit as smooth
and seamless as possible.
If you have any questions regarding your
visit please feel free to contact your health care provider.
